Happy release day to Nazarea Andrews for her new standalone novel in the River Street Bar series with Whiskey Sour!
I haven’t read any of the books in this series before, but I am excited to get stuck into this one over the weekend before my review on Monday 1st October. (Apart from the fact all I can think right now is that it is WHISKY not WHISKEY. I’m Scottish after all. We know our whisky.)
Calvin Landers is a mess.
He has a great job and a steady string of men and women in his bed, and has been in love with the same couple for so long he can’t remember a time when he wasn’t. Coming off a fresh heartbreak, he’s ready to move on, to give up on romance and sex altogether and move in with his best friend, Davis, while he looks for something more permanent and tried to figure out what the hell he’s doing with his life.
Ava Liu isn’t looking for anything more than something to distract her from the book she’s supposed to be translating. Something to distract her from why the hell she’s in River City in the first place. But the boys who share a fence are more than a little distracting and pushy, when they realise just how much Ava needs someone — and how much they all need each other.
Sometimes life happens just when you stop looking.
About the Author
Nazarea Andrews (N to almost everyone) is an avid reader and tends to write the stories she wants to read. Which means she writes everything from zombies and dystopia to contemporary love stories. When not writing, she can most often be found driving her kids to practice and burning dinner while she reads, or binging TV shows on Netflix. N loves chocolate, wine, and coffee almost as much as she loves books, but not quite as much as she loves her kids. She lives in south Georgia with her husband, daughters, spoiled cat and overgrown dog. She is the author of World Without End series, Neverland Found, Edge of the Falls, and the University of Branton series. Stop by her Twitter (@NazareaAndrews) and tell her what fantastic book she should read next.
